Steam Replay for 2025 has officially launched, allowing gamers to reflect on their gaming experiences over the past year. This feature follows the trend initiated by Spotify Wrapped, where users can view personalized summaries of their activities, a concept that has since been adopted by platforms like YouTube and Twitch.
Steam Recap became accessible starting Tuesday, December 16, 2025, although it may take some time for all users to see their personalized reports. To check your Steam Recap, users can visit Valve’s website or simply click on the banner located in the Steam app’s storefront.
The recap covers playtime from January 1, 2025, to December 14, 2025, however, it is worth noting that any gameplay logged while offline or disconnected from the internet will not be included. Additionally, games that are still unreleased, in preload, in prerelease status, or disabled will also be excluded from the recap.
This annual feature not only promotes engagement on the platform but also serves as a reminder of the gaming journey each user undertook throughout the year, fostering a sense of community and reflection among players. As more players interact with their game histories, it cultivates a culture of sharing and discovering new gaming experiences together.
