Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C) is gearing up for an exciting fundraising benefit show, set to take place in Nashville on Saturday, August 9. The event, filmed at the Pinnacle, will feature a stellar lineup including the Jonas Brothers, Noah Cyrus, Gavin DeGraw, Marcus King, Brothers Osborne, Jon Pardi, Jelly Roll, Dan + Shay, and CeCe Winans, all supported by the Nashville Community Gospel Choir.

This hour-long concert special will premiere on Friday, August 15 at 8 p.m. EST, broadcasting across 30 different platforms, including major networks like ABC, CBS, and NBC, along with streaming services such as Hulu and YouTube. An audio-only version will be available via iHeartRadio. During the broadcast, viewers can contribute to the cause through the Up2Us campaign, which runs until August 31.

The televised event will also showcase pre-recorded messages from celebrities like Jamie Foxx, Tim McGraw, Zoe Saldaña, Reese Witherspoon, and Keith Urban. Host Sheryl Crow will guide the audience through touching stories from cancer survivors whose lives have been positively impacted by research funded by SU2C.

Julian Adams, Ph.D., president and CEO of SU2C, expressed the organization’s gratitude for being able to bring the benefit show to Nashville, emphasizing the importance of donor support and the commitment of cancer researchers worldwide. “We are honored to spotlight this critical work and support the life-saving mission of SU2C,” he stated.

Notably, SU2C holds its benefit show biennially, and this year’s participants reflect a diverse community in film, television, sports, and journalism. Co-founder Katie Couric highlighted the significant progress made in cancer treatment over the past 15 years, asserting that every dollar is crucial in the fight for long-term survivor outcomes.

The event signifies not only a celebration of past achievements but also a renewed commitment to continued research and advocacy in the battle against cancer, showcasing the power of community and collaboration in contributing to life-saving advancements.
