They reminisced about the extensive makeup and prosthetics required for their roles in “The Batman” and “Batman Returns.”
Farrell inquired about DeVito’s makeup tests, both expressing how challenging the transformation process was. DeVito praised Farrell’s portrayal, noting the significant makeup change he underwent, to which Farrell responded that the initial makeup tests took about eight hours, eventually reduced to three in the morning before filming.
DeVito shared his own experiences, noting he would spend around three and a half hours getting ready each day, humorously describing his morning routine of dillydallying over tea before settling into the makeup chair.
