Telespazio has entered into an agreement to enhance satellite connectivity in Patagonia, Argentina. The company is collaborating with Altec, a local technology and communications solutions provider, to introduce Starlink satellite internet services to schools and municipal offices in the Río Negro province. This initiative was announced on September 9.
The initial phase will involve the installation of equipment at select schools and government offices, with plans to expand services to additional institutions in the future. The introduction of Starlink will enable users to access online learning platforms, communicate with other organizations, and utilize various digital services essential for efficient development.
This collaboration will enhance connectivity for many educational institutions and government agencies, fostering digital advancement and technological inclusion in Río Negro. The aim is to improve internet access and the availability of digital resources in the province’s remote and rural areas.
