Dancing with the Stars has unveiled its exciting cast for season 33 of the popular reality competition series. The lineup includes Olympian Stephen Nedoroscik, known for his expertise on the pommel horse, reality stars Joey Graziadei and Jenn Tran from Bachelor Nation, and the infamous “fake heiress,” Anna Delvey. Host Julianne Hough expressed her desire for an ideal contestant during an interview, mentioning Chris Hemsworth, who previously won the Australian edition of the show.
“I think he should participate in the American version to truly claim the title of Dancing with the Stars champion,” Hough remarked during the Disney Upfront event in May. She humorously questioned whether she could dance and host simultaneously if Hemsworth were to join.
As for what viewers can anticipate this season, Hough highlighted themes of nostalgia and the essence of what makes the show special, teasing some exciting surprises ahead. She emphasized the strong sense of community within the cast, aiming to ensure that new participants feel welcomed and energized.
Reflecting on the show’s enduring appeal over 33 seasons, Hough noted its multigenerational charm. “It’s something that can be enjoyed by kids, parents, and grandparents alike,” she stated. “While we are competitive, we also support each other, and given today’s circumstances, we all need a bit of joy and hope.”
