Star-Studded Lineup Revealed for SNL’s Milestone 50th Season!

“Saturday Night Live” has announced its lineup of hosts for Season 50, featuring an impressive roster that includes Ariana Grande, John Mulaney, and Michael Keaton.

The season will kick off on September 28 with actress Jean Smart making her hosting debut alongside musical guest Jelly Roll. Following this, comedian Nate Bargatze will take the stage on October 5, with Coldplay performing as the musical guest.

Ariana Grande will return to host “SNL” for the second time on October 12, accompanied by musical legend Stevie Nicks. Michael Keaton is scheduled to appear on October 19 with Billie Eilish, while John Mulaney will host on November 2 with first-time musical guest Chappell Roan.

Jean Smart recently celebrated her third Emmy victory for her role in the comedy series “Hacks,” and Jelly Roll, who is poised for a performance at the Emmys, will promote his upcoming album “Beautifully Broken,” set for release on October 11.

Nate Bargatze, who is currently on his “Be Funny Tour,” will return to the “SNL” stage after previously hosting in 2023. Coldplay will join him for their eighth performance on the show, just ahead of their tenth album, “Moon Music,” which will be released on October 4.

Grande’s appearance on “Saturday Night Live” comes as anticipation builds for the release of “Wicked,” which hits theaters on November 22. Stevie Nicks returns to the show after last performing in 1983.

Keaton, recently seen in “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” with Jenna Ortega and Winona Ryder, will promote his upcoming film “Goodrich,” debuting in theaters on October 18. He is set to perform with Eilish, who will be making her fourth appearance as a musical guest, in support of her upcoming 2024 album “Hit Me Hard and Soft.”

John Mulaney, who was a writer on “Saturday Night Live” from 2008 to 2013, returns to host for the sixth time. The Emmy-winning comedian is also starring in the new Broadway play “All In: Comedy About Love,” which opens on December 11. Chappell Roan, who gained popularity this year with hits like “Good Luck, Babe!” and “Hot to Go!,” will bring her lively pop music to Studio 8H for her first appearance.

“Saturday Night Live” will mark its 50th season with a live primetime special on February 16. The show airs on NBC at 11:30 p.m. ET and is available for streaming on Peacock. “SNL” is produced in collaboration with Broadway Video, with Lorne Michaels serving as the creator and executive producer.
