Frankie Muniz and Chelsea DeNofa have been officially announced as guest drivers for the upcoming Mustang Challenge Le Mans Invitational, taking place from June 11-14. Muniz, a well-known television personality who has transitioned to a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driver, made his debut in this competition at the Circuit of The Americas last year. His participation was confirmed by Ford Performance on Wednesday.
In addition to Muniz, DeNofa, the 2023 Formula Drift Champion, will also join the race, driving a Mustang Dark Horse R in a special category named the ‘Dark Horse Stars.’ This unique class is reserved for one-off drivers and will showcase their talents on the prestigious Circuit de la Sarthe. Notably, Ford Motor Co. CEO Jim Farley is also scheduled to participate in this event.
A complete entry list for the Mustang Challenge, which promises to highlight all six Ford Performance Junior Team drivers, is anticipated to be released soon. This event celebrates the spirit of motorsport and showcases the breadth of talent within the racing community.
This exciting lineup indicates that the Mustang Challenge Le Mans Invitational will be a thrilling spectacle, featuring a mix of seasoned drivers and new faces, creating an atmosphere of anticipation for fans and participants alike.
