Stadium Security Goes All Out for Apertura 2025 Kickoff!

In anticipation of the opening match of the Apertura 2025 tournament, security measures were heavily implemented at “El Coloso de Pradera.” Police and Civil Protection units were stationed both inside and outside the stadium to ensure the safety of the attendees.

More than 100 members from the Municipal Police, Traffic Control, and both local and state Civil Protection organizations were on hand to monitor the situation ahead of the Friday match between Mazatlán FC and Club Puebla. They lined up in organized rows to check each fan entering the stadium for any dangerous items, a vital step in preventing potential disturbances before the game.

In addition to these security measures, Civil Protection teams were on alert due to early rain showers, providing assistance and ensuring fan safety in wet conditions. Traffic officers managed congestion on Avenida Múnich beginning at 6:00 PM, as this route tends to be busy with fans headed to Pradera Dorada.

Furthermore, private security within El Encanto enhanced safety protocols with more than 160 personnel actively monitoring the inside of the venue. The overall operation was reinforced by the presence of four ambulances stationed at various points around the stadium, ready to respond to any emergencies that may arise.

This proactive approach to event safety not only underscores the commitment of local authorities to provide a secure environment for sporting events but also promotes a positive atmosphere for fans to enjoy the game.
