A tragic incident unfolded in St. Cloud on the evening of February 7, resulting in the death of a 22-year-old woman and severe injuries to a 23-year-old man. The St. Cloud Police are treating the case as a homicide, following their response to a medical emergency reported at 8:20 p.m. on the 3100 block of 40th Ave. S.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered the woman with multiple wounds and pronounced her dead at the scene. The man, who was also found injured, was quickly transported to St. Cloud Hospital, where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.

According to the police, both individuals were known to each other, and there is currently no indication that the public is at risk. Authorities have opted not to release their identities at this time, as they work to inform family members.
