Spooktacular Fun Awaits at Manatee County’s Rescheduled Goblin Gathering!

Manatee County, Florida – Despite challenging weather conditions in recent weeks, officials in Manatee County are set to host their annual Halloween celebration. The 22nd edition of the Goblin Gathering is scheduled for October 25, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the wooded area of G.T. Bray Park. The event was initially planned for earlier in the month but was postponed due to Hurricane Milton.

Local businesses and community partners will distribute “treats & sweets,” offering families a safe trick-or-treating option. Organizers report that crews have successfully cleared the area of debris, and popular attractions like bounce houses, face painting, a petting zoo, a magician, and an abundance of free candy will all be part of the rescheduled festivities.

Participants can sign up for the costume contest starting at 5 p.m., with judging set to begin at 7 p.m. The contest will feature various categories, including:

– 1 year and under
– 2 to 4 years old
– 5 to 8 years old
– 9 and older
– Families

G.T. Bray Park is located at 5502 33rd Ave. Dr. W. in Bradenton. Visitors can access the park from 59th St. W. or 51st St. W. and are encouraged to park near the Recreation Center off 33rd Ave Dr. W. Please be aware that parking will not be available in the 51st St. Park area.
