Southwest Airlines Adds Special Flights for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Fans

Southwest Airlines is adding flights to accommodate Taylor Swift fans attending the Eras Tour concerts in October.

The airline will provide 10 additional flights to and from Miami and New Orleans for Swift’s shows scheduled there in October.

On October 17, Southwest will offer flights from Baltimore/Washington to Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood and from Nashville to Miami, with return flights on October 20.

On October 24, the airline will introduce additional flights to New Orleans from Austin and Baltimore/Washington. Additional flights from Dallas and San Antonio to New Orleans will be available the following day.

Southwest has uniquely tied the flight numbers to Swift’s songs, such as Flight 22 and Flight 1989, referencing her song “22” and the album “1989.”

“Southwest is excited to welcome Swifties and looks forward to celebrating with them as they hit the road to see one of the most successful female artists of all time!” the airline stated. “And remember, just like your first two checked bags, bracelets fly free!”

Swift’s global tour has significantly boosted her revenue, making her a billionaire, and has positively impacted host cities with increased spending from Swift and her fans.
