Southeastern Louisiana University baseball head coach Bobby Barbier has announced the addition of 21 new players for the 2025 season as fall practice commences in Hammond, Louisiana. This recruiting class consists of three Division I transfers, eight junior college players, and ten freshmen who just concluded their high school careers. Notably, this group features three junior college All-Americans, a Gold Glove recipient, a National Pitcher of the Year winner, two All-Region players, and one All-Conference honoree. Among the high school recruits, four players are recognized in Perfect Game’s top-500 rankings, while three others made the top-1,000 list.

“We are very excited about this group,” Barbier remarked. “I am so thankful for our staff and the time that they spent on the road putting this class together.”

The three Division I transfers include infielder-outfielder Ben Robichaux and right-handed pitcher Patrick Vienne from the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, along with outfielder Logan Walters from Jacksonville State.

The eight junior college additions feature infielder-outfielder Mo Little and Brady McGee from East Central, Giovanni Licciardi and left-handed pitcher Luke Barbier from Delgado, right-handed pitchers Blake Lobell and Nick Gisclair from LSU Eunice, Luke Lirette from Southwest Mississippi, and Tony Torres from El Paso.

The ten high school recruits include right-handed pitchers Truitt Webb, Levi Shaffer, Brady St. Pierre, Quinn Smith, and Braden Farizo; left-handed pitcher Nik Toups; left-handed pitcher-outfielder Brant Melancon; right-handed pitcher Jacob Thorn; and infielder-outfielder Justin Domiano.
