Renowned playback singer Sonu Nigam recently performed at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convocation Complex (SKICC) in Kashmir, a significant event marking the first major concert in the region since the Pahalgam attack. Set against the stunning backdrop of Dal Lake and the Zabarwan Mountains, the performance served as a tribute not only to the legendary Mohammad Rafi but also to the beauty of Kashmir itself. Despite calls for a boycott, with Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah opting to stay away, the concert received support from Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, who emphasized its potential to enhance tourism in the Valley.
