Sol Campbell has expressed confidence in Arsenal’s defensive capabilities, believing they have what it takes to secure trophies this season. Campbell points to the strength of Arsenal’s defense as a crucial factor in their potential success this season. Mikel Arteta’s team has already recorded four clean sheets in just seven matches and has conceded only once from open play in the Premier League.
“William Saliba wouldn’t have signed the contract until 2030 if he didn’t believe Arsenal can win. They just have to win. This year they’ve got to win by hook or by crook — but you have to work to get a lucky break,” Campbell shared in an interview. He also praised Jurrien Timber, referring to him as one of the best right-backs in Europe and highlighted his skills and potential to contribute to the team’s success, despite a brief setback due to injury.
