MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The cherished Fourth of July event, Salute from the Shore, is once again bringing patriotic spirit to the Grand Strand. This tradition, which has been honoring our armed forces since 2010, features a spectacular flyover along the South Carolina coastline.
The initiative aims to unite beachgoers in a coordinated salute to troops, spreading gratitude both nationwide and globally. The Salute from the Shore organization emphasizes its vision of creating a synchronized tribute to those who serve.
On this year’s celebration, F-16s and classic warplanes will commence their aerial display at 1 p.m. in Cherry Grove, gracefully making their way down to Beaufort. Attendees are encouraged to wave flags and showcase their patriotic pride as they watch the planes soar overhead.
This beloved event not only offers entertainment but also serves as a poignant reminder of the sacrifices made by military personnel. With its roots deep in community spirit and national pride, Salute from the Shore continues to be a highlight of Fourth of July festivities in the region.
As families gather to enjoy this dazzling display, it reaffirms the strong bond between citizens and service members, generating a hopeful atmosphere of appreciation and unity across the coast.
