“Saturday Night Live” has announced an exciting schedule for three consecutive shows in January 2026, featuring a lineup of fresh hosts and musical guests. The season kicks off on January 17, when Finn Wolfhard, known for his role in “Stranger Things,” will take the helm for his inaugural hosting gig alongside musical guest A$AP Rocky, who will be making his debut performance on the show timed with the release of his new album “Don’t Be Dumb” on January 16.

The following week, January 24, will mark the hosting debut of Teyana Taylor, who is currently in the spotlight for her Oscar campaign surrounding her film “One Battle After Another.” She will be joined by the band Geese as her musical guests.

On January 31, Alexander Skarsgård will step up as host for the first time, accompanied by the popular rapper Cardi B, returning for her second appearance on the show after releasing her latest album “Am I the Drama?” in September.

This January lineup is a continuation of “SNL’s” dynamic Season 51, which has featured a blend of first-time hosts and returning stars. The season originally kicked off in October with Bad Bunny, followed by appearances from notable figures such as Amy Poehler, Sabrina Carpenter, Miles Teller, and Melissa McCarthy.

“SNL” returns this January after a winter finale in December hosted by Ariana Grande, highlighted by a metatextual farewell sketch for longtime cast member Bowen Yang, who departed after seven seasons. Given this combination of new talent and established stars, “Saturday Night Live” is poised to deliver an entertaining start to the new year, promising a mix of humor, music, and memorable moments for fans.
