SmackDown Soars: Viewership Hits New High Ahead of Money in the Bank!

WWE’s Friday night SmackDown drew an average of 1.424 million viewers on USA Network, marking a three percent increase from the previous week. This represents the highest viewership for the show since May 9. The episode served as the go-home show for the upcoming Money in the Bank event.

In the competitive landscape of prime time television, SmackDown secured the ninth position for total viewers, while achieving a solid second place in the 18-49 demographic with a rating of 0.42. This rating reflects a significant 23.5 percent increase from the prior week and is the best performance in this demographic since the aftermath of WrestleMania on April 25.

SmackDown faced tough competition from the College Softball World Series on ESPN, which led in the 18-49 demo with a 0.47 rating and set a new record for college softball viewership, drawing 2.397 million viewers.

When compared to the same week in 2024, when SmackDown was still broadcasting on Fox, the overall viewership has decreased by 35.5 percent, while the 18-49 demographic rating is down by 31.2 percent.

Overall, while there has been a drop in total viewers compared to previous data, the show remains consistent within its target demographic, demonstrating resilience and interest ahead of significant upcoming events.
