Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is set to make a big splash this week with a special launch event at Shredenhams, a former department store transformed into a vibrant skatepark. This exciting, free event will take place on Saturday, July 12, in Bristol and aims to be a family-friendly affair that encourages both skaters and non-skaters to participate.

Attendees will have the chance to engage in “family-friendly skate sessions,” where they can learn from professional skaters. Additionally, fans can collect “SKATE” letters scattered throughout the park, echoing tasks featured in the game itself. Completing these challenges will provide participants an opportunity to win various prizes related to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4.

As the day progresses, a launch party will commence, featuring a free skate session that runs from 6:30 PM to 11 PM. Attendees will also enjoy a live performance by The 900, a UK tribute band dedicated to playing music from the beloved Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series.

This latest installment in the franchise marks the series’ return after a five-year hiatus. The game is now available for players who opted for the deluxe and collector’s edition versions, while everyone else can look forward to its wider release shortly.

The new soundtrack for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 consists of only 10 tracks from the original games, alongside an impressive 54 new songs. This decision sparked some controversy among fans, as Tony Hawk himself acknowledged that the reduction in classic tracks was intentional, aiming for a fresh experience with each release.

With its blend of community engagement, nostalgia, and modern twists, the launch event promises to be a memorable celebration for fans of all ages.
