Reflecting on their journey, Silva expressed the mix of emotions and challenges they faced. “We went back,” Silva told reporters through an interpreter at the UFC 324 media day. “It was a lot of suffering, a lot of talking, a lot of pain, but we had to get over that. This dream we’ve had our whole lives is worth fighting for, and even through the challenges, we never stopped. We kept training and working, and now we’re prepared for the next challenge.”
Silva acknowledged the expectations surrounding the Fighting Nerds, noting that their popularity had soared since their explosive rise in 2024.
