The Sick New World festival is set to make a vibrant comeback in 2026 after a setback in 2025. The festival will feature major one-day events in both Las Vegas and Fort Worth, Texas, with legendary band System of a Down serving as the headliner for both events.
Scheduled for April 25, 2026, the Las Vegas edition will take place at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds and will present an impressive lineup that includes not only System of a Down but also Korn, Bring Me the Horizon, Ministry, Evanescence, Marilyn Manson, AFI, Acid Bath, Knocked Loose, Danny Elfman, Cypress Hill, Mastodon, Underoath, Melvins, Filter, Clutch, and more.
Meanwhile, the inaugural Fort Worth festival is set for October 24, 2026, at the Texas Motor Speedway. This edition will also feature System of a Down alongside notable acts such as Deftones, Slayer—celebrating the 40th anniversary of their iconic album “Reign in Blood”—Evanescence, Ministry, AFI, Mastodon, Knocked Loose, Power Trip, The Prodigy, Underoath, Clutch, Down, and Melvins.
Pre-sale tickets for the Las Vegas edition will be available starting Thursday, October 23, at 10 a.m. local time, using the code SICK26. For the Fort Worth event, pre-sale tickets go on sale the following day, October 24, at 10 a.m. local time, also utilizing the code SICK26.
The 2025 festival, which was originally set to feature heavyweights like Metallica and Linkin Park, was abruptly canceled due to disappointing ticket sales. However, the return of the Sick New World festival for 2026 showcases a renewed confidence in the event, as System of a Down attracted large crowds during the highly successful editions held in 2023 and 2024.
This return signifies the resilience of the music festival scene and offers fans an exciting opportunity to experience a stellar lineup of performances in both Las Vegas and Fort Worth, fostering a spirit of enthusiasm as the festival landscape continues to evolve.
