Shrek 5 Adds New Voices, Zendaya to Voice Felicia

The beloved animated franchise is set for a new chapter with the announcement of cast additions for “Shrek 5.” DreamWorks made the exciting news public via the film’s official Instagram account, revealing that comedian and “Saturday Night Live” cast member Marcello Hernandez, along with “Superman” actor Skyler Gisondo, will join the lineup.

In a lighthearted video shared by the studio, Hernandez and Gisondo exchanged messages, showing varying levels of enthusiasm about their roles, which are confirmed to be the voices of Shrek and Fiona’s sons, Fergus and Farkle. The playful interaction was aptly captioned, “The Brogres have entered the chat.”

Joining veterans of the series, such as Mike Myers as Shrek, Eddie Murphy as Donkey, and Cameron Diaz as Fiona, the film is also set to feature Zendaya voicing Felicia, Shrek and Fiona’s daughter, further enhancing an already star-studded cast.

“Shrek 5” was first announced in July 2022 and promises to take audiences back to the enchanting land of “Far, Far Away” for an exciting new adventure. Directed by Conrad Vernon and Walt Dohrn, the film is being produced by Gina Shay and Chris Meledandri, with Brad Ableson as co-director.
