Shannon Beador, a star of “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” recently faced legal trouble again after being cited for using a handheld device while driving on May 21 in Orange County, California. This incident occurred almost two years after her DUI arrest in September 2022, during which she was involved in a hit-and-run accident where she crashed into a house.

As a first-time offender for the recent citation, Beador is mandated to pay a $20 fine by July 11. Fortunately for her, this citation will not add points to her driving record since it is categorized as a non-moving violation.

Shannon Beador remains on probation until November 2026 following her previous arrest. Her attorney, Mike Fell, has reported that she has shown deep remorse for her actions, stating she is prepared to take full responsibility. As part of her probation, Beador must attend an alcohol education program for nine months and complete 40 hours of community service.

In a heartfelt apology during the premiere of “RHOC” Season 18 that aired in July 2024, Beador expressed her regrets and emotions to her children, admitting to them how humiliated she felt about her actions. She acknowledged the weight of her mistakes and emphasized the severity of impaired driving, reflecting on how quickly life can change in a moment of poor judgment.

In a positive development, as part of her recovery from past incidents, Beador has started utilizing a breathalyzer interlock device in her vehicle, demonstrating her commitment to making safer choices moving forward. Her journey highlights the importance of accountability and the potential for personal growth, even in challenging circumstances.
