Seth Gilliam, acclaimed for his roles in notable series like The Walking Dead and The Wire, has recently joined TalentWorks for representation.
Gilliam is widely recognized for his portrayal of Father Gabriel Stokes, a character he brought to life in the final six seasons of AMC’s The Walking Dead, which aired from 2014 to 2022. He also made a significant impact as Sergeant Ellis Carver on all five seasons of HBO’s celebrated series The Wire. His versatility extends to roles in Teen Wolf, where he played Dr. Alan Deaton, further showcasing his range as an actor.
In addition to his key roles, Gilliam has made guest and recurring appearances in several high-profile television series, including The Blacklist, Bull, City on a Hill, Elementary, The Good Wife, Criminal Minds, and Homeland.
On the film front, Gilliam recently starred in the indie thriller Ride or Die, which premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival. His upcoming project includes a role in the paranormal crime thriller Stakeout, directed and written by Micah Khan, where he will star alongside Sonja O’Hara. This film is based on Khan’s short film The Zombie Wedding, hinting at an intriguing blend of genres.
