Selena Gomez’s beauty brand, Rare Beauty, is set to launch an exciting new product line with its Positive Light Luminizing Lip Gloss collection. This marks the brand’s first foray into translucent glosses, which will be available in six captivating shades: Dazzle, Beam, Flicker, Glimmer, Spark, and Blaze, each priced at $20.

In a vibrant campaign influenced by her film “Spring Breakers,” Gomez expressed her vision for the gloss. “I wanted to create a lip gloss that feels really good and has a ton of shimmer. It’s just so fun to wear,” she stated in the press release. The campaign features striking visuals, including a playful imagery of a masked character holding the gloss, accompanied by the cheeky tagline, “Selena Gomez I Got Your Gloss.”

The lip gloss is designed to offer a long-lasting sheen with a subtle peach flavor, cleverly creating the illusion of fuller lips due to its shimmering formula. The collection’s shades are diverse, with Dazzle and Flicker presenting blue undertones, while Beam and Glimmer offer warm pink and rose gold hues, respectively. Spark and Blaze incorporate rich brown and bronze tones, appealing to a variety of preferences.

Rare Beauty has consistently expanded its product offerings since its 2020 launch. Initially centered on makeup, the brand ventured into body care in 2023, introducing items such as lotions, body washes, and exfoliants. The foundational team includes experienced professionals from NYX Cosmetics, reflecting Gomez’s commitment to quality and innovation.

An essential part of Rare Beauty’s mission includes a focus on mental health awareness through its nonprofit initiative, the Rare Impact Fund, which receives 1% of all sales to help underserved communities. The goal is to raise $100 million over the next decade to support mental health initiatives.

The Positive Light Luminizing Lip Gloss collection will be available starting Thursday at Sephora, both online and in stores, as well as on Rare Beauty’s official website. This new addition marks another step in the brand’s journey and reinforces its purpose of promoting both beauty and mental health awareness.
