The U.S. Marshals Service is currently investigating a reported sighting of Travis Decker in Idaho, amid ongoing concerns following the tragic disappearance of his three young daughters—Paityn, Evelyn, and Olivia. Decker, who is now featured on the U.S. Marshal’s “Top 15 Most Wanted” list, has been missing for over a month following allegations that he kidnapped and murdered his daughters.

Authorities have urged anyone who may be visiting the Bear Creek area of the Sawtooth National Forest, particularly during the 4th of July weekend, to provide any leads or tips regarding Decker’s whereabouts. On July 5, 2025, the U.S. Marshals received a credible tip from a family in the area, which aligned with descriptions of Decker.

The individual believed to be Decker is described as a white male, approximately 5’8”-5’10”, with a long ponytail and wearing distinctive clothing, including a black mesh cap, black gauged earrings, a cream-colored t-shirt, black shorts, and a black JanSport backpack. He was noted to have an overgrown beard and mustache, as well as black shoes which could be Converse or Vans.

The Bear Creek area, located near Stanley and north of Fairfield, is about 100 miles east of Boise, Idaho. The U.S. Marshals Service is urging anyone who might have future sightings or pertinent information to contact their local office or the U.S. Marshal Service Communication Center.

This investigation represents a continued effort to bring justice regarding the tragic case, and the authorities are counting on public assistance to locate Decker as they work tirelessly to resolve this unsettling situation. Any information could be crucial, and the community’s vigilance can play a key role in a safe resolution.
