Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach Sean Mannion has recently interviewed for the Philadelphia Eagles’ offensive coordinator position, as reported by Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports. This comes as the Eagles look to fill the vacancy left by Kevin Patullo, who served only one season in the role.
At 33 years old, Mannion brings nearly a decade of NFL experience, primarily as a backup quarterback. He transitioned into coaching with the Packers in 2024, initially as an offensive assistant under the guidance of Tom Clements, and was later promoted to quarterbacks coach in 2025 by head coach Matt LaFleur.
During his tenure with the Packers, Mannion has played a vital role in the development of quarterback Jordan Love, helping him to emerge as one of the league’s more efficient signal-callers. He has also contributed to the growth of Malik Willis, a backup quarterback who is on track for a notable free agency following his impressive performances.
Mannion’s NFL career began as a third-round draft pick in 2015, and he has appeared in 14 games, starting two, across three different teams: the Rams, Vikings, and Seahawks.
