The Seattle Seahawks received some positive news on Tuesday as left tackle Charles Cross returned to practice as a full participant after missing the last three games due to a hamstring injury. However, his status was later updated to limited participation due to a knee issue in addition to his hamstring concern.

In Cross’ absence, Josh Jones has filled in as the starter but was also sidelined on Wednesday due to a knee injury. The team faced further complications on the injury front when linebacker Ernest Jones was added to the injury report due to an illness and did not participate in practice.

Among the injury updates, linebacker Tyrice Knight made a return to limited practice on Wednesday following a shoulder issue that kept him out the previous day. On a brighter note, several players were back at full participation, including edge rusher DeMarcus Lawrence (Achilles), wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba (rest), linebacker Chazz Surratt (ankle), and defensive lineman Leonard Williams (rest).

Cornerback Riq Woolen continued to be limited in practice with an oblique injury. The Seahawks are navigating a challenging injury landscape but are hopeful that the returns of key players will bolster their lineup as they prepare for upcoming games.
