Zach Braff and Donald Faison are set to make a nostalgic return to the small screen with a revival of their beloved series, “Scrubs.” Fans can look forward to catching up with their favorite doctors when the show premieres on ABC on February 25.

In an exclusive sneak peek, Braff’s character, J.D., expresses his excitement about returning to Sacred Heart Hospital, saying, “Man, I missed this,” highlighting the emotional connection both the actors and fans have with the original setting that aired for nine successful seasons from 2001 to 2010. The special glimpse emphasizes the longstanding camaraderie between J.D. and his best friend, Dr. Christopher Turk, portrayed by Faison. Their quirky yet endearing bond is a core theme, much to the chagrin of Dr. Perry Cox, played by John C. McGinley, who humorously comments, “You two idiots are perfect for each other.”

The revival promises to explore the characters’ lives years after the original series. J.D. reunites with familiar faces, including nurse Carla Espinosa, played by Judy Reyes, and his wife Dr. Elliot Reid, portrayed by Sarah Chalke. Additionally, viewers will be introduced to new characters, such as Dr. Eric Park, played by Joel Kim Booster, and Sibby, portrayed by Vanessa Bayer, as they unwind with some appletinis.

As the excitement builds for the revival, fans can expect a heartwarming blend of nostalgia and new dynamics that made “Scrubs” a standout series in its initial run. With the beloved characters back and new storylines on the horizon, the show’s return is sure to delight both longtime fans and a new audience.
