She played a crucial role in planning the menu, making her presence even more significant for him during the event. “I kind of snuck her up the back, showed her everything before it got started,” he said, highlighting the supportive dynamic in their relationship.
Reflecting on the overall experience, Scheffler remarked on the uniqueness and privilege of being in the same room as golf’s legends. “I think it’s really cool to be in that room. I think you would always dream of being there,” he concluded, indicating a blend of excitement and gratitude for the opportunity bestowed upon him.
