The Boston Bruins and the Boston Bruins Foundation have officially announced the fifth annual Pucks & Paddles event, scheduled for Wednesday, November 20, at 3 p.m. at the House of Blues located on Lansdowne Street in Boston.
Since its inception in 2018, this tournament has successfully raised over $435,000, supporting various charitable initiatives. This year’s event will feature participation from current Bruins players, Bruins alumni, on-air personalities from 98.5 The Sports Hub, and athletes from Special Olympics Massachusetts.
The competition will consist of a single-elimination tournament, where Bruins players, on-air talent, and winning bidders will compete against each other. The tournament will culminate in a championship game, where the two final teams will battle for the title of David Pastrnak & 98.5 The Sports Hub Pucks & Paddles Champions. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit Special Olympics Massachusetts and the Boston Bruins Foundation.
For those interested in attending, additional information and VIP ticket packages can be purchased through the official website.
This event not only showcases the spirit of community and competition but also emphasizes the important work done by Special Olympics Massachusetts and the Boston Bruins Foundation. By fostering engagement between fans and players, Pucks & Paddles continues to build awareness and support for inclusive sports and the athletes who participate in them.
