Sarah Jessica Parker, known for her love of reading, recently opened up about her struggles with vision while reflecting on a trip to Ireland 15 years ago. During that period, she began experiencing discomfort while reading, which she initially attributed to fatigue. However, it soon became evident that her eyesight was deteriorating, leading her to wear glasses more frequently—a decision she resisted as it felt like a contrast to her lifelong reading habits.

Parker described her discomfort with relying on glasses, stating, “I think it was a point of pride for me that I never wore glasses because I read so much.” The actress, dedicated to her craft and personal interests, found it frustrating to need an accessory for something she had always done with ease.

To combat her vision issues, Parker started using Vizz eyedrops, which have significantly improved her reading experience. As a judge for the 2025 Booker Prize, she faced the daunting task of reading over 150 books, alongside her extensive reading for work and family. The eyedrops allowed her to regain the convenience of reading anytime, anywhere, eliminating the need to search for glasses.

Parker expressed her appreciation for the eye drops, noting how they have positively impacted her daily life, saying, “Having something that created more convenience… is really fantastic.” She emphasized how it has transformed her relationship with reading, allowing her to continue pursuing her passion without the burden of vision problems.

Now able to read comfortably again, Parker remarked on the significance of this change, highlighting that it enhances her ability to engage in activities she cherishes. “It’s like, ‘Oh yeah, this is the way I can live my life differently,’” she stated, reflecting on how these drops have become a vital part of her life, enabling her to carry on with the same enthusiasm for reading she has always had.
