As an Ivory Coast native who joined the academy at age 11, Zamblé is well-acquainted with the style of play implemented by head coach Mikey Varas. His signing marks an important addition, as Zamblé becomes the fourth graduate of the renowned academy to join San Diego FC, following in the footsteps of players like Emmanuel Boateng, Marcus Ingvartsen, and defender Willy Kumado. The Right to Dream Academy recently received recognition as the best academy in the world at the Globe Soccer Awards.
Heaps noted that Zamblé comes with a solid foundation in professionalism and playing identity, which will facilitate his integration and growth within the San Diego FC environment.
