Safety First: South Fulton Police Ramp Up Patrols Ahead of Public Funeral

Police have advised the public to allow extra time to reach their destinations as the South Fulton Police Department boosts its presence along the Old National corridor and throughout the city. Additional officers will be on patrol to manage any incidents or concerns that may arise.

The South Fulton police will collaborate with Clayton County deputies and College Park police to facilitate traffic in the area.

A reporter from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution will be present to cover the public funeral, which is open for attendees who must RSVP via richhomiequan.com. Fans who secured their tickets can participate in a public viewing from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. before the doors close.

The 34-year-old rapper was a significant figure in Atlanta’s music industry, playing a vital role in popularizing the city’s trap music in the early 2010s with hits such as “Type of Way” and “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh).” He also gained recognition as part of the notable duo with Young Thug, forming half of the Cash Money group Rich Gang.

An autopsy was conducted earlier this month, but the cause of death has not yet been disclosed. On Sunday, a vigil and balloon release took place at Ronald E. McNair High School, the rapper’s alma mater.
