Sabrina Carpenter Unleashes New Album and Music Video: What’s Next?

Sabrina Carpenter is set to release her eagerly anticipated album “Man’s Best Friend” on August 29th. This album marks her seventh studio effort and follows her previous number one LP, “Short n’ Sweet,” which debuted strongly last August, boasting hits like “Espresso,” “Please Please Please,” and “Taste.”

To kick off the promotion for “Man’s Best Friend,” Carpenter has released the music video for its lead single, “Manchild.” Co-written with her frequent collaborators Jack Antonoff and Amy Allen, the video has quickly garnered over 15 million views, showcasing Carpenter’s artistic growth and engagement with her audience.

Following criticism over the original cover art for the new album, Carpenter responded by unveiling an alternative black and white cover. This new artwork, which features her alongside a man in a suit and captioned with a humorous note about signed copies, demonstrates her ability to navigate public feedback with grace and creativity.

Carpenter will also embark on the second leg of her highly successful “Short n’ Sweet Tour,” kicking off on October 23rd in Pittsburgh. The tour will include several major cities, with notable stops such as five nights in Madison Square Garden and six at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, wrapping up on November 23rd. Earlier this year, she completed a European leg of the tour, which will continue with additional performances in the U.S. and Canada, including two special shows at London’s Hyde Park.

With a mix of new music and ongoing performances, Carpenter continues to reaffirm her place in the contemporary music scene. The pre-order for “Man’s Best Friend” is now available, allowing fans to get an early taste of her latest work.
