Sabrina Carpenter Sparks Summer Buzz with New Album Announcement!

Sabrina Carpenter is making headlines again this summer with the announcement of her new album, “Man’s Best Friend,” set to release on August 29 through Island Records. This comes just a week after she dropped her latest single, “Manchild.”

During an engaging Instagram Live session, Carpenter provided fans with a glimpse of the forthcoming album, showcasing a collection of records by iconic artists including Donna Summer, ABBA, and Dolly Parton. The anticipation continued to build as she shared the album cover on the turntable, highlighting the artist’s distinct style.

“Man’s Best Friend” will be Carpenter’s seventh studio album, following the 2024 release of “Short n’ Sweet.” Notably, the deluxe edition of “Short n’ Sweet,” which features a collaboration with Dolly Parton titled “Please Please Please,” was released earlier this year in February. Fans can already pre-order “Man’s Best Friend,” which will include a picture disc that showcases a unique painting by Jacob Rochester featuring Carpenter with a figure at her feet.

The single “Manchild” debuted on June 5 and made an impressive impact by quickly soaring to the top of Spotify’s U.S. charts, racking up nearly two million streams in a matter of days. Carpenter described “Manchild” as “the song embodiment of a loving eye roll,” ideal for sunny road trips and summer vibes, inviting fans to enjoy it while they travel.

In addition to her new music, Carpenter has an exciting lineup of performances. After her successful headlining of Primavera Sound in Barcelona, she’ll continue her summer tour with two nights at London’s Hyde Park on July 5 and 6. She is also set to perform at major festivals, including Lollapalooza on August 3 and both weekends of Austin City Limits on October 4 and 11. The fall itinerary includes a North American leg for the “Short n’ Sweet” tour, which will feature a significant return to Madison Square Garden for three shows and a series of performances at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

With this new album and an active touring schedule, Sabrina Carpenter is undeniably set for a vibrant summer filled with music and connection with her fans. Her enthusiasm and engagement with her audience only amplify the excitement surrounding her upcoming projects.
