Rumors circulating about Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Travis Kelce having a breakup contract have been deemed “entirely false” by Kelce’s public relations agency. Full Scope Public Relations, which represents the Kansas City tight end, issued a statement on Wednesday to refute the claims after images of a supposed breakup contract circulated widely on the internet from a now-deleted Reddit post.
“These documents are entirely false and fabricated and were not created, issued or authorized by this agency,” the PR firm stated.
The purported document, which bore the Full Scope Public Relations logo, was titled “Comprehensive Media Plan for Travis Kelce’s Public Relations Following Breakup with Taylor Swift.” It included aims such as “To effectively manage and mitigate the fallout from the breakup,” emphasizing the importance of maintaining Kelce’s positive public image.
Full Scope Public Relations is collaborating with Reddit’s legal team to explore potential legal measures against those responsible for creating and sharing these documents. “We have engaged our legal team to initiate proceedings against the individuals or entities responsible for the unlawful and injurious forgery of documents,” the agency explained.
Swift’s team has not yet commented on the issue.
In sports, Kelce is set to play in the first game of the regular season as the Kansas City Chiefs face the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Although not officially confirmed, Swift is expected to attend, given her schedule break from her Eras Tour.
Earlier this week, Kelce praised Swift when discussing her interest in football and whether she had contributed any plays for the team. “I think what makes her so good in her profession is that she’s so detailed in every aspect of it,” he remarked on “The Rich Eisen Show.” He humorously added that while none of her plays have reached Coach Andy Reid yet, he would ensure everyone knew they were her creations if they ever did.
