Royal Caribbean has announced an exciting expansion of its cruise offerings in the Caribbean, with new sailings available for booking through April 2028. This new deployment includes a range of options, featuring both 7-night and shorter Caribbean cruises departing year-round from various Florida homeports.

This week, five popular cruise ships were included in the release, aiming to attract both seasoned cruisers and those on their first vacation experience. The newly introduced sailings are set to provide unforgettable tropical adventures.

The Star of the Seas, recognized as the world’s newest cruise ship, will continue its 7-night cruises to the Caribbean from Port Canaveral. Launched in the summer of 2025, this ship stands out not only for its size but also for offering an unparalleled cruising experience. Travelers can book itineraries that include visits to Mexico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the famed Perfect Day at CocoCay. Select voyages will also make stops at Labadee, Jamaica, Samaná in the Dominican Republic, or Roatan, with most sailings focusing on the eastern Caribbean, featuring stops at CocoCay, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten.

Meanwhile, Utopia of the Seas retains its focus on short cruises, offering 3- and 4-night sailings that depart from the Orlando area. This ship, which entered service in 2024, has been particularly marketed towards first-time cruisers due to its variety of onboard activities and entertainment. Utopia will sail to Nassau in the Bahamas and Perfect Day at CocoCay, making it a perfect choice for quick getaways.

In a similar vein, Wonder of the Seas will also be hosting short cruises. Based in Miami, this ship will offer the same lane of itineraries as Utopia, with 3- and 4-night trips to CocoCay or Nassau, providing convenient weekend cruise options.

For longer voyages, Harmony of the Seas will cater to those seeking weeklong trips, based out of Port Canaveral. While primarily offering 7-night cruises to eastern and western Caribbean destinations, there will also be a few 2- and 5-night options. An exciting refurbishment is scheduled for early 2026, which will include enhancements to the pool deck and the addition of new specialty dining venues and accommodations.

The smaller yet beloved Radiance of the Seas will operate from Tampa, providing a selection of 4-, 5-, and 7-night cruises, with most itineraries visiting Cozumel and Costa Maya. The latter will see transformations into Perfect Day Mexico by late 2027, presenting increasingly attractive options for travelers.

Although Icon of the Seas was not included in this week’s announcement, Royal Caribbean may have significant plans in store for the ship, potentially assigning it to a different homeport as they continue to develop their lineup.

Looking ahead, Royal Caribbean plans to unveil additional deployment options next week, including cruises departing from the Northeast, Texas, and California, with new sailings expected to be available by November 10. This consistent rollout of cruise options reflects Royal Caribbean’s commitment to providing memorable vacation experiences and expanding its offerings to cater to every traveler’s needs.
