The Tournament of Roses has announced that the 2026 Rose Parade will be available to livestream on eight platforms, marking the third consecutive year that the iconic New Year’s Day event can be viewed online. This initiative aims to expand the reach of the parade to a global audience, allowing fans from around the world to participate in the festivities from their own homes.

The 137th Rose Parade will kick off on January 1, 2026, at 8 a.m. PST, and will be streamed in full via platforms such as Christmas Plus, Dooya, FanDuel Sports Network, Fubo, GFam+, Great American Pure Flix, Pluto TV, and Samsung TV Plus. The parade will also be accessible on the Tournament of Roses’ YouTube channel, remaining available for streaming until January 14 on most platforms, and potentially up to a year on select services.

David Eads, CEO and executive director of the Tournament of Roses, expressed that the livestream is designed to enhance accessibility while welcoming viewers from around the world to Pasadena’s long-standing tradition. “The Rose Parade has always been about welcoming the world to Pasadena, and our livestream really allows us to expand that tradition,” Eads stated. He emphasized how the combination of live audiences, traditional broadcasts, and streaming services creates a more inclusive celebration.

The event will still be televised live across several networks, including ABC, CNN, Fox, and more, but the official livestream offers a unique experience by showcasing each of the 86 units participating in the parade along the 5.5-mile route. This focus on streaming came in response to shifting viewing habits, particularly among younger generations who prefer mobile-friendly formats. Eads noted that the inaugural livestream in 2024 saw around 25,000 viewers, which skyrocketed to over 1.15 million in 2025, underscoring the growing appeal of this option.

In-person attendance is expected to reach between 850,000 and one million people along Colorado Boulevard, with traditional broadcast partners anticipating an audience of over 30 million viewers. The 2026 livestream will feature sports anchor Darren Haynes and TikTok star Pressley Hosbach, this year joined by Loni Love, a multi-award-winning comedian, actress, and author.

Eads affirmed the Tournament of Roses’ commitment to expanding their digital footprint and hopes to partner with major streaming platforms like Apple TV and Amazon Prime in the future to further increase their audience reach. With this progressive approach, they intend to invite more viewers to experience the Rose Parade, regardless of how they choose to tune in.
