The NBA has officially announced the participants for the highly anticipated 2026 AT&T Slam Dunk contest, set to take place on Saturday, February 14, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The event, which is a highlight of NBA All-Star Saturday, will commence at 5 p.m. ET and will be broadcast live on NBC and streamed on Peacock.

This year’s competition will showcase four talented players, all making their Slam Dunk debut: Carter Bryant from the San Antonio Spurs, Jaxson Hayes of the Los Angeles Lakers, Keshad Johnson from the Miami Heat, and Jase Richardson representing the Orlando Magic.

Among the participants, Carter Bryant and Jase Richardson are rookies. Bryant, standing at 6-6, was picked 14th overall in the 2025 NBA Draft, while the 6-1 guard Richardson was drafted 25th overall, following in his father’s footsteps—Jason Richardson won the AT&T Slam Dunk contest in both 2002 and 2003.

Jaxson Hayes, a 7-foot center, is playing his seventh season in the NBA and his third with the Lakers. Keshad Johnson, a 6-6 forward, enters his second season after spending part of last season on the Miami Heat roster and the NBA G League’s Sioux Falls Skyforce.

The AT&T Slam Dunk contest will follow a two-round format, with players attempting two dunks in the first round. Judges will score these dunks, and the two players with the highest combined scores will advance to the final round, where they will each attempt two additional dunks. The player with the higher combined score in the finals will be crowned the champion.

As anticipation builds for this exciting event, fans are eager to see who will take home the title in what promises to be an electrifying showcase of athleticism and creativity on the court.
