Diawara’s performance came as a welcome return to form after he experienced a dip in playing time over the preceding three games, where Sochan had edged him in the rotation. “Everybody has been telling me to stay ready,” Diawara expressed. “For real, the players and the staff. It’s my first year, so not everything will be perfect. I just have to stay ready for whenever my name gets called.”
