Planning ahead can save you time and money!

HOUSTON — Those eager to attend RodeoHouston will benefit from some strategic planning as ticket sales approach. Sales commence on Thursday, January 15, 2026, exclusively online at rodeohouston.com/tickets and are divided into two sales waves. The first wave opens at 10 a.m., allowing access to performances taking place from March 2 through March 11. The second wave, starting at 2 p.m., will cover shows occurring from March 12 through March 21.

To get in on the action, prospective buyers must enter the online Waiting Room, which opens 30 minutes prior to each sale wave. This means waiting from 9:30 a.m. for Wave 1 and 1:30 p.m. for Wave 2. It’s crucial to note that ticket availability is not determined by who logs in first; rather, participants are randomly selected when sales begin, making the Waiting Room a fair chance for all.

Once selected, attendees can purchase up to 10 tickets per performer. If fans wish to see multiple acts, they will need to return to the home page and initiate the purchasing process again. This limit is designed to maximize access for all ticket seekers. For those needing additional tickets, verified resale options will soon be available through AXS, the official ticket partner of the Rodeo, typically around noon for Wave 1 and 4 p.m. for Wave 2.

Ticket prices begin at $35, which includes a $5 convenience fee. Seating options vary, including Upper Level tickets priced at $35 or $44, premium Action Seats available for $180, and Chute Seats at $429. Other seating tiers include Loge Level at $53, Club Level from $74 to $79, Field Level at $69, and the exclusive Chairman’s Club Party Deck at $205. It’s important to remember that children aged three and up will require their own ticket.

For those needing accessible seating, it is important to act quickly, as these tickets are limited and will require joining a separate Waiting Room. Availability for specific performances cannot be guaranteed, and assistance can be sought by calling 832.667.1080 for support.

In terms of scheduling, weekend rodeos kick off earlier with events starting at 2:45 p.m. followed by entertainers taking the stage around 5 p.m., while the gates open at 2 p.m. Weekday rodeos begin at 6:45 p.m., with entertainers performing around 9 p.m. and gates opening at 6 p.m.

Should any issues arise during the ticket-buying process, there is no need to worry. Closing and reopening your browser before the sales start will not affect your Waiting Room status. However, after the sale time starts, a complete restart will be necessary. Trying a different browser can also help, and further assistance can be obtained by emailing tickets@hlsr.com if obstacles persist.

With careful planning and preparation, RodeoHouston enthusiasts can make the most of this exciting event and enjoy the thrill of live performances.
