Robbie Williams has unveiled an exciting series of shows in England and Scotland set to coincide with the release of his eagerly awaited album, titled Britpop. The pop icon will kick off the tour at Liverpool Olympia on February 6, 2026, the very day his new album drops.
Following his performance in Liverpool, Williams is scheduled to perform at O2 Academy Brixton in London on February 8, and Wolverhampton’s Civic Hall on February 9, among other locations. This announcement comes alongside the debut of his latest single, Pretty Face, which follows earlier tracks Rocket, Spies, and Human that are part of the upcoming album.
Historically known for his electrifying performances, Williams concluded his 2025 tour with a unique show aptly described as “the smallest show of Robbie’s career” at Dingwalls in Camden last Thursday. The forthcoming album, Britpop, features contributions from various celebrated musicians including Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Supergrass’ Gaz Coombes, Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi, and his former Take That bandmate Gary Barlow.
The album cover pays homage to the Britpop era, showcasing Williams in a red tracksuit reminiscent of the attire he wore at the Glastonbury Festival in 1995. Williams expressed his enthusiasm for the album, stating, “I set out to create the album that I wanted to write and release after I left Take That in 1995. It was the peak of Britpop and a golden age for British music. I’ve worked with some of my heroes on this album; it’s raw, there are more guitars and it’s an album that’s even more upbeat and anthemic than usual.”
If Britpop secures the top spot in the UK albums chart, it will mark Williams’ 16th number one album, surpassing the long-standing record previously held by The Beatles. Prior to launching his successful solo career, Williams was a prominent member of the boyband Take That, contributing to hits like Pray, Everything Changes, and Sure.
In recent years, he has also shared his personal journey through a biopic titled Better Man and a self-titled Netflix documentary series centered on his battles with addiction and mental health. With a legacy that includes chart-topping albums such as Life Thru A Lens, I’ve Been Expecting You, Escapology, Intensive Care, and Rudebox, along with iconic singles like Millennium, Rock DJ, and Candy, Williams continues to remain a significant figure in the music industry.
As fans eagerly await the release of Britpop, it seems that Robbie Williams is poised for another triumphant chapter in his illustrious career.
