Robbie Williams has announced an exciting UK tour planned for next year, coinciding with the release of his upcoming studio album titled “Britpop.” This tour, dubbed the Long 90’s Tour, is set to kick off at Glasgow’s Barrowlands Ballroom on February 4, 2026, and will highlight the singer’s long-awaited return to live performances.
The tour will continue with a performance at Liverpool Olympia on February 6, the same day his album hits shelves, followed by shows at O2 Academy Brixton in London on February 8 and Wolverhampton’s Civic Hall on February 9. This announcement aligns with the release of his latest single, “Pretty Face,” which is one of several tracks from the forthcoming album, following previously launched songs including “Rocket,” “Spies,” and “Human.”
Williams’ album “Britpop” was originally slated for release on October 10, but it has been postponed due to scheduling conflicts. Nonetheless, the anticipation continues to build around this new music, especially after he recently canceled a performance in Turkey for public safety concerns.
The visual for “Britpop” features Williams in a vibrant red tracksuit, reminiscent of the outfit he wore during the famous 1995 Glastonbury Festival, marking the peak of the Britpop era. The singer expressed his enthusiasm about the project, stating, “I set out to create the album that I wanted to write and release after I left Take That in 1995.” He highlighted that the album has a raw edge with more guitars, aiming to deliver an upbeat and anthemic sound that reflects the golden age of British music.
The album also features an impressive roster of guest musicians, including Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Gaz Coombes of Supergrass, Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi, and former Take That member Gary Barlow. If “Britpop” reaches the top of the UK albums chart, it could mark Williams’ 16th number one album, surpassing The Beatles’ longstanding record.
Previously, Williams captivated audiences last year with his biopic “Better Man” and a self-titled Netflix documentary series that explored his struggles with addiction and mental health. With several chart-topping albums and hit singles throughout his career, including “Millennium” and “Rock DJ,” Robbie Williams continues to be a significant figure in the music industry, eagerly anticipated by fans as he prepares for this new chapter in his career.
