A 38-year-old man, Nathaniel Walters Radimak, who was sentenced to five years in prison for a series of violent road rage incidents in Southern California, has been arrested again in Waikiki. This time, Radimak is facing allegations of misdemeanor assault and breaking into a car following a new road rage encounter on Wednesday evening, which reportedly involved him attacking a woman and her mother.
Radimak was apprehended by Honolulu police on Thursday afternoon after the incident, which occurred around 6 p.m. in Kakaako. According to police reports, he got into a confrontation with the victims after they exchanged words during a parking maneuver. Witnesses claim that Radimak, driving a gray Tesla, exited his vehicle and assaulted both the 18-year-old and her 35-year-old mother before fleeing the scene.
Prior to this recent incident, Radimak was released from prison in August 2023 after serving less than a year for his previous offenses, which included multiple assaults, vandalism, and elder abuse. During those assaults, Radimak gained notoriety for using a metal pipe to damage the vehicles of his victims, many of whom were women. His prior convictions stemmed from a series of road rage attacks across Los Angeles County between 2022 and 2023 that left numerous victims traumatized.
Before his release, Radimak had an outstanding traffic warrant in Hawaii, stemming from earlier citations for driving without a valid license and speeding excessively.
This alarming pattern of behavior has raised concerns about public safety and the effectiveness of the legal system in addressing repeat offenders. The community hopes that these incidents will lead to stricter enforcement and preventive measures to protect against similar acts of violence in the future.
