Year 10 student Kavya Pillay is poised to make a memorable appearance at the Radio Fiji Two / Mirchi FM “Rewa” Diwali Dhoom festival this Saturday, held at Damodar City in Labasa. The ambitious student from Labasa Sangam College, well-known for his budding talent as a kirtan artist, is set to deliver an energetic performance designed to engage and delight the audience.

“I have curated a diverse selection of songs for the event, including a well-loved Tamil hit, ensuring that everyone in attendance can connect and enjoy,” Kavya shared. His passion for music shines through in his gratitude towards FBC for providing him with the opportunity to present his skills on such a significant stage.

Kavya is encouraging families and music lovers throughout Labasa to come out and partake in the festivities, promising an evening filled with vibrant entertainment and celebratory spirit. The Diwali Dhoom will feature a variety of engaging competitions including Thali and Sweets presentations, Rangoli art, poster contests, and Diya decoration, offering community members a chance to showcase their creativity while celebrating the essence of Diwali.

Scheduled from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, the Mirchi FM & Radio Fiji Two Diwali Dhoom is set to provide an enchanting night of music and festivity.
