Bula FC is generating excitement with the recent signing of talented young goalkeeper Isoa Latui, who marks the club’s 19th Warrior as they gear up for the upcoming season. The native of Rakiraki has displayed significant skill and promise, rapidly advancing through school, club, and national age-grade football, heralding a bright future in his career.

Latui’s football journey began in his early years at Dreketi Sangam School, where a teacher introduced him to the sport. His career took an important turn in Class 8 when his height led to a transition into goalkeeping, a decision that became crucial after veteran coach Sunil Kumar spotted his potential. He continued to hone his skills at Central College Lautoka, and by Form 3, he was already representing the Fiji Under-15 national team.

Continuing to develop within the Lautoka FC system, Latui played for both the youth and senior teams under the guidance of coach Shivam Raj. This year, his progress culminated in a significant achievement as he represented Fiji at the FIFA U17 World Cup in Qatar, establishing himself as one of the most promising young goalkeepers in the nation.

Securing his first professional contract with Bula FC is a moment of great importance for Latui, who expressed deep appreciation for the sacrifices his family has made to support him throughout his journey. Bula FC has welcomed him with open arms, hoping he will flourish and grow on this professional stage. Latui’s journey is not just a testament to his personal success but also highlights the bright future of Fijian football, which continues to nurture talented players ready to make their mark on the international scene.
