When a dog is reported missing through the Ring app, participating outdoor cameras in the vicinity employ AI-powered computer vision to scan for animals that might resemble the lost pet. If a potential match is identified, the owner of the camera receives an alert and has the option to share the footage with the pet owner seeking their dog.
