Richemont made a striking impression at the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) by unveiling a series of innovative creations on Thursday. Among the highlights was Vacheron Constantin’s debut of the Métiers d’Art Year of the Horse timepiece, which pays homage to the cyclical traditions of the Chinese zodiac.

Additionally, Montblanc showcased its distinguished High Artistry A Journey through Château de Versailles Collection, introducing a limited-edition writing instrument that captivates the essence of France’s regal heritage.

This marks Richemont’s sixth consecutive year at the expo, where it featured an impressive lineup of seven of its flagship brands, including Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Vacheron Constantin, Alaïa, dunhill, and Montblanc. Notably, Van Cleef & Arpels presented the Lady Arpels Bal des Amoureux Automate watch, which is a testament to the intricate cloisonné enamel technique. They also created an immersive Parisian café setting at their booth, inviting visitors into a romantic experience reminiscent of the 19th century.

Gu Jialin, CEO of Richemont Group China, articulated the significance of the event by stating, “CIIE is a vital platform for Richemont to engage with China’s dynamic market. We cherish this opportunity to share our understanding of beauty and style. We are proud of our brands’ exceptional craftsmanship, with each creation embodying timeless elegance, resonating with the present, and offering aesthetic expressions that transcend time.”

The participation of Richemont at such a prestigious event exemplifies its commitment to connecting with consumers in China and reinforces the robust relationship luxury brands maintain with emerging markets, paving the way for future growth and collaboration in the industry.
