In an exciting crossover event, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (RHOSLC) cast chartered a yacht captained by Jason Chambers from Below Deck Down Under, leading to some memorable moments. Despite his efforts to maintain distance from the ladies, tensions flared as conflicts erupted over dinner. Jason was seen exiting the situation on two separate occasions, avoiding what turned into a fierce verbal clash among the cast.
Throughout the episode, viewers were treated to some awkward flirting from Britani Bateman, who seemed unaware of Jason’s pivotal role on the boat. In contrast, Lisa Barlow recognized Jason’s dedication and work ethic, commenting on his performance during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live (WWHL) on October 28. She praised his strong work ethic, saying, “He works really hard. I didn’t expect him to work so hard. He was busy, breaking a sweat. He does a really good job.”
During the WWHL segment “Does! Lisa! Love It?”, host Andy Cohen quizzed her about her feelings towards Captain Jason. Lisa enthusiastically responded, “I loved Captain Jason,” though she jokingly clarified, “I was not in love with Captain Jason.” When asked if she had any favorite crew members from the Down Under team, Lisa excitedly mentioned that she had multiple favorites who were “so fun.”
While Lisa enjoyed the crossover, she expressed some nerves about how the incident would be portrayed from the Australian crew’s perspective, acknowledging that the trip surely provided the makings of reality TV gold.
