Rewa Football Club is gearing up to celebrate a remarkable football season this Saturday in Nausori, commemorating recent victories including the FMF IDC 2025 title and consecutive championships in the Extra Super League. The club is inviting fans to participate in the festivities, encouraging them to wear red and bring flags, drums, and banners in support of the Delta Tigers.
The celebrations will commence at 10 AM at Mistry Lane, followed by an energetic street march through Nausori Town starting at 11 AM. The event will culminate with a formal gathering at Ratu Cakobau Park at noon.
Nazeel Buksh, president of Rewa FC, expressed gratitude towards the players, officials, and dedicated supporters who have stood by the team throughout the season. He emphasized that securing both major titles this year represents a significant achievement not just for the club, but for the wider district, highlighting the team’s discipline and unity.
This celebration is a reflection of Rewa FC’s successful year, which included their impressive victory in the Digicel Fiji Premier League where they defeated Nadi with a score of 4-1. Additionally, Rewa FC’s accomplishments were recognized at the 2024 Extra Supermarket-sponsored Fiji FA Awards Night, where they took home five awards, including Team of the Year. This recognition further cements their status as a leading force in Fijian football.
